Spreading Awareness Across 15,000+ Schools

Our disability awareness e-booklet has now reached over 15,000 schools across India. This milestone means thousands of students are better informed about inclusion, empathy, and respectful communication with persons with disabilities (PwDs).

Empowerment Through accessibility

Summary:
In partnership with inclusive employers, Prayaas undertook accessibility checks of some public buildings in the National Capital Delhi. This was very well received by the officials there, who interacted and discussed ways in which we can make our public spaces inclusive for all.
Legal Aid Workshop: Understanding Your Rights

Summary:
Delhi Government organised a workshop focused on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 among other topics covering protections, entitlements, and how to access free legal aid. Prayaas presented the work it does and sought collaboration, which was widely appreciated by all.

We highlight the stories of NGOs that have partnered with Prayaas to extend our outreach. Together, we’ve co-hosted campaigns, shared resources, and amplified our impact. We organised football sessions for children with disabilities, to promote communication and interaction through sports.
Interactive workshop with Hospitality Sector with focus on employment

Summary:
Prayaas organised an interactive workshop in Jaipur with more than 40 participants from the local hotel industry of Rajasthan with an aim to highlight the importance of employing PwDs. The workshop was well received by the industry and they all assured support in giving gainful employment to PwDs.
